Equipping Leaders For A Changing World

At Fuller, we are constantly engaged in three key questions: What is God doing in this changing world? How can the Church align itself with what God is doing? And how can Fuller Seminary best equip leaders who are ready to serve the Church and the world?

Changes today impact us all. Sweeping advancements in technology and communication have made the world smaller; an image-driven culture increasingly divides us; young people and their families are unable to communicate; many churches are in crisis, uncertain how to bring the lost and the disenfranchised back into their fold. Yet there are deep spiritual yearnings among people everywhere—yearnings to know more about the person of Jesus Christ.

Fuller’s capital campaign, Leading Change, is our prayerful plan to address these changes and equip leaders to meet the challenges of our day. The initiatives you see described on this website will expand and deepen Fuller’s ability to equip leaders through theological renewal; leading-edge research; integrative worship and ministry; bridge-building across denominations, cultures, and ethnicities; and innovative delivery systems for education, training, and outreach. We are also committed to providing an accessible, hospitable environment for our learning community.

Because we care deeply about the cause of the gospel, we know that it is a cause that demands our very best. We care about lost souls. We care about young people and broken families. We care about the poor, about unrighteousness, about injustice. Preparing leaders to minister in all of these areas requires not only careful scholarship, but an openness to new ideas—and all of it grounded in a deep and abiding confidence in the complete trustworthiness of God’s Word.

There has never been a more exciting time to be involved in Fuller’s wonderful ministry of “equipping men and women for the manifold ministries of Christ and his Church.”
Fuller Seminary needs dedicated supporters who want to see their investment in the Kingdom reap tangible dividends in the Church and in the larger culture. Thank you for your faithful partnership as we build up a new generation of leaders equipped to serve our changing world.
